We had the most incredible fly fishing experience at this lodge. The breathtaking views of the lake from our well-furnished bedroom made it a truly isolated bliss. The lodge's dining and sitting rooms were delightful, and the food, although carb-heavy for our tastes, was plentiful and well-prepared. Brendan, our fly fishing instructor, was not only skilled but also great company. We explored spectacular fishing locations each day, even visiting Brendan's own settlement and seeing their Bayeux style tapestry. It was a truly rejuvenating experience, despite not catching a salmon. We can't wait to return!

I had the most amazing time at Tuckamore Lodge. The atmosphere was so warm and inviting, it felt like being with family. The staff were incredibly friendly and treated me like an old friend. The location was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views and peaceful surroundings. I enjoyed a romantic hour on the deck by the water and indulged in a delicious family-style dinner. The French toast for breakfast was out of this world. I can't wait to go back and spend more time at this hidden gem. I highly recommend this lodge for a memorable and unforgettable experience.

The cabins by the lake were breathtaking, and we even had a rejuvenating dip in the morning before enjoying the wood-fired sauna overlooking the lake. The delicious dinner, spacious room, and efficient Wi-Fi made our stay comfortable. The lounge with its cozy atmosphere was a great place to relax. Barb, our host, was outstanding. Highly recommend this gem of a place!

the location was superb, feeling like it's in the middle of nowhere next to a large lake. the lodge itself was beautiful, with large communal tables for meals that allowed me to meet and connect with other guests. the communal room had stunning views, and the meals, although pre-booked with no menu, were delicious. the rooms were comfortable and clean, with a rural charm. the lodge was also a great base for activities like hunting, fishing, and hiking, and there were interesting villages and attractions nearby, including a national historic site and a marvelous tapestry at the French Shore Interpretation Centre in Conche. I also loved the dark skies, perfect for catching the Northern Lights with the help of the aurorawatch app. it was a fantastic experience. Cons: Not obvious to find. 😕.

The value for money at Tuckamore Lodge was excellent. The room was comfortable and had a charming rural touch. The location was superb, nestled beside a picturesque lake and offering a sense of peaceful seclusion. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, adding to the overall positive experience.
The only thing that could have made the breakfast even better would be to have a variety of pastries or muffins alongside the regular bread slices.
